Le Gers

The Gers, homeland of Alexandre Dumas' D'Artagnan musketeer, is a department in the Midi-Pyrénées region, in the southwest of France.

It is very agricultural and well known for its gastronimical specialties such as the foie gras and the Armagnac brandy.
